Marshall and his pet cat, PPK
Marshall was born in San Rafael, CA at the Guide Dogs for the Blind campus. He spent his puppyhood in the loving care of a girl in 4H and an older puppy raiser, dividing his time between Littleton, Colorado and San Diego, California, where he spent his days on a cushy dog bed on a boat in the San Diego Harbor.
Although Labrador Retrievers are thought of as water dogs, Marshall prefers the snow and long sunbaths with his pet cat, PPK. As of this writing, Marshall has been an outstanding guide dog for David for over ten years. In his spare time, Marshall works on his memoirs, answers his voluminous fan mail, and pines for his blue-eyed love, Ella.
